RedShift Competition Coilovers with double-adjustable shocks are custom race-valved remote-reservoir monotube coilovers, built to win using real motorsport damper valving.

Like other serious "motorsport" damper companies, we use a significantly different balance and shape of compression and rebound damping curves than what street coilovers use. The RedShift Competition Coilover uses digressive compression damping, linear rebound damping, and large shaft sizes for maximum grip. We tune the compression damping to do more work in controlling the mass of the car (sprung weight), and this in turn reduces dive under braking, makes turn-in crisp, and significantly improves your ability to feel the car and hit your marks on course. Rebound damping is made linear (and relatively less than street coilovers) so that the tire stays in contact with the surface for better grip under braking, at turn-in, through the turn, and for the drive wheels at corner exit. The RedShift Competition Coilovers are designed in every way to win races.


Our "Double Adjustable" starts with the same internals of the single adjustable version but adds a compression-only adjustment and larger shafts to supply more fluid to this compression-only base valve in the remote reservoir. This gives you even more control of the compression/rebound balance of the shock, which helps tune the car for specific surfaces and conditions. These shocks allow you to run full stiff on the best sunny day when the surface allows you to generate best grip, and then it also allows you to turn down the shocks if it is cold, wet, overly bumpy, or any other time you need to soften the shock. It's a seriously great value for the level of performance it provides, and it has a very effective, simple damping adjustment strategy. Adding the compression adjustment provides you the ability to adjust the compression/rebound balance so you have advanced control of how the car feels and performs in all conditions.

Working with Chris was a great experience. He is very transparent and attentive to details. He worked with me in developing his system with a new platform (mr2 spyder) for the first time and ended up delivering me an incredible product.

I was able to get the coilovers installed and tested this past weekend on my CSP build mr2 and holy crap did they transform the dynamics completely. I was skeptical that better dampers would make this big of a difference and was thinking I would need other work to get the car to behave how I wanted it to. No longer am I skeptical. Even on a cold morning with cold hoosiers the car just turns in amazingly, front end grip has returned. Transitions were amazing. Slaloms are fast, corner entry is fast and build confidence, steady steady is great, and corner exit you can feed throttle so early.

If you are thinking about pulling the trigger on some of these, definitely do it. You won't be disappointed!
