RedShift Competition Coilovers are meant for one thing... to win! They include all springs, mounts, height adjusters, and adjustment tools. Nothing additional to purchase!

All of our coilover levels utilize a significantly different balance and shape of compression and rebound damping curves than what street coilovers use. The RedShift Competition Coilover uses digressive compression damping and linear rebound damping for maximum grip. We tune the compression damping to do more work in controlling the mass of the car (sprung weight), and this in turn reduces dive under braking, makes turn-in crisp, and significantly improves your ability to feel the car and hit your marks on course. Rebound damping is made linear (and relatively less than street coilovers) so that the tire stays in contact with the surface for better grip under braking, at turn-in, through the turn, and for the drive wheels at corner exit. The RedShift Competition Coilovers are designed in every way to win races.

Our RedShift BC Competition Single-Adjustable Coilovers are revalved to race valving that is digressive/digressive or digressive/linear valving and is designed to win autocross and track events and is NOT just stiffer street valving; rather we use contemporary motorsport valving strategy seen normally only in real motorsport dampers.

In addition to the above, we also offer the RedShift MCS
Competition Double-Adjustable Non-Remote Coilovers utilize the world-renown "Motion Control Suspension" dampers that incorporate separate compression and rebound damping adjustment into the main body of the shock; so no external canister is required. This is a fantastic shock that makes it easy to run a double-adjustable damper without the headache of having to mount external canisters! Also available are RedShift MCS Competition Double- and Triple-Adjustable Remote Coilovers. All RedShift MCS Competition Coilovers use spherical bearing upper mounts and helper springs where needed (struts). The quality of the product aside, Chris and his dealer network (I was helped by Jay Edwards of Garage 344) are very vested in the sales experience. I walked in knowing I wanted coilovers with better performance. But nothing beyond that. I've got to laud Chris for taking the time to help me understand the nuances of shocks and helping guide me to a decision. He could have pushed his most expensive shock at me, but he chose to help me understand what would work best for me given where I was on the learning curve about shock damping.

Chris set up a seamless appointment through Jay with Garage 344. I just had to show up on the day of the scheduled install and Garage 344 went through the install in a very efficient manner. Chris stopped by and provided a lot of insight and pointers on how to use toe and what to think about as I went about adjusting the shocks.

I've since driven the car at Lime Rock and was able to consistently lap a second faster than my fastest time there.

I cannot explain how much these coilovers inspire confidence and allow the car to transition it's weight in a predictable manner. Previously on Koni Yellows I was pretty happy and hit a wall at my local road course(Thompson Speedway). However after installing these coilovers I've cut my time down by 3 seconds(which is a competitive time for Tuner 3 SCCA). There is still more time out there easily as I understand these coilovers more and more. Also had the chance to take these to Lime Rock Park and instantly hit 1:06s. I plan to do more events next year with SCCA Time Trials so watch out for me in the future!

Awesome value and grip like crazy! These ride better than the 6k/5k standard BC kit that was removed, a true testament to how the digressive valving and Chris's time spent to make things perfect for my exact needs we're worth the wait.

I purchased a set of RedShift Motorsports single-adjustable coilovers for my 1993 Honda Civic race car.

Prior to purchasing Chris's coilovers, I was running the Koni Yellow Race shocks.  While they did a good job, I felt they could be better.  They didn't do a great job of controlling oscillations at the front wheels with the spring rates I was running.  Additionally, it seemed that if I made a change because the car wasn't acting right in one type of corner, it'd just compromise handling in another type of corner.

I knew I needed some better shocks, but wasn't willing to fork out over $2,000 for a set of MCS or JRZ or Penskes.  So, when I found Chris's product for a substantially cheaper cost, I asked friends for their opinions and spoke with Chris over the phone (very knowledgeable guy).  

Those positive opinions and my conversation with Chris combined with the low cost of the RedShift Coilovers convinced me to pull the trigger.

The lead time was a bit long which was frustrating at the time, but the product was worth the wait.

My first test day was at Summit Point Main in WV.  The shocks made the car supple, predictable, and easy to handle.   I don't know how I was driving the car before.  What used to be a terror to drive is now a pleasure.

Bumps are well-controlled, transitions are supple and smooth, and even small adjustments make a big difference in the feel of the car.  Correcting driver errors is much easier now and getting the car to do the same thing 2, 3, 4, 5 times in a row is much easier as well due to the shocks.

Working with Chris was a great experience. He is very transparent and attentive to details. He worked with me in developing his system with a new platform (mr2 spyder) for the first time and ended up delivering me an incredible product.

I was able to get the coilovers installed and tested this past weekend on my CSP build mr2 and holy crap did they transform the dynamics completely. I was skeptical that better dampers would make this big of a difference and was thinking I would need other work to get the car to behave how I wanted it to. No longer am I skeptical. Even on a cold morning with cold hoosiers the car just turns in amazingly, front end grip has returned. Transitions were amazing. Slaloms are fast, corner entry is fast and build confidence, steady steady is great, and corner exit you can feed throttle so early.

If you are thinking about pulling the trigger on some of these, definitely do it. You won't be disappointed!
