Note that we are experiencing longer than normal build times due to high demand during this busy season. Build turn around is now 6-8 weeks on RedShift BC kits and 4-5 weeks on RedShift MCS kits.

RedShift Competition Coilovers with custom, race-valved BC Racing or MCS
monotube dampers, built to win using real motorsport damper valving.

Available for most cars (see
Application List).

RedShift Competition Coilovers are meant for one thing... to win! They include all springs, mounts, height adjusters, and adjustment tools. Nothing additional to purchase!

All of our coilover levels utilize a significantly different balance and shape of compression and rebound damping curves than what street coilovers use. The RedShift Competition Coilover uses digressive compression damping and linear rebound damping for maximum grip. We tune the compression damping to do more work in controlling the mass of the car (sprung weight), and this in turn reduces dive under braking, makes turn-in crisp, and significantly improves your ability to feel the car and hit your marks on course. Rebound damping is made linear (and relatively less than street coilovers) so that the tire stays in contact with the surface for better grip under braking, at turn-in, through the turn, and for the drive wheels at corner exit. The RedShift Competition Coilovers are designed in every way to win races.

Our RedShift BC Competition Single-Adjustable Coilovers are revalved to race valving that is digressive/digressive or digressive/linear valving and is designed to win autocross and track events and is NOT just stiffer street valving; rather we use contemporary motorsport valving strategy seen normally only in real motorsport dampers.

Our RedShift BC Competition Double-Adjustable Remote Coilovers have separate adjustments for compression and rebound that can be helpful if you want to set your own shock balance. The compression adjustment is a bleed valve on the remote canister, and the rebound adjuster is a bleed valve at the top of the main shock. Swivel fittings at both ends of the hydraulic line make installation and adjustment easy. Customer may chose any hydraulic line lengths (for your specific custom install... line lengths are usually somewhere between 18 and 42 inches).

Please contact us for RedShift MCS Coilover kits and options.

** You may chose any spring rate you want. (Contact us for recommendations. No upcharge on BC springs.)
Upgrade to Swift springs for $320. (This upgrade is available above.)
** Upgrade any non-strut, coil-on-shock top mounts to "RedShift Coaxial" type. These are available for front and/or rear axles here:
** Upgrade any camber plates to "Camber Caster" plates! Available anywhere camber plates are used: https://store.redshiftmotorsports.com/product-p/re...

5 of 5 Redshift Comp Coilovers for Crx April 22, 2021
Reviewer: Kameron Clements from Idaho Falls, ID United States
Chris was great to work with from start to finish. From the initial start of asking questions and building the desired setup for my autocross car.  He took into consideration of my setup and how to build it better with his knowledge. The communication was great through the whole process and even offered me some new options that were coming available soon.  Product showed up in the mentioned time window and looked fantastic. Looking forward to testing them out soon!
Thanks Chris

So first of all, Chris is the man. Definitely a go-to for anything suspension related. Definitely has the experience and knowledge to get almost anyone set up. I got my Redshift coilovers in recently that are revalved, beefed up BC coilovers. Now I will say, I’ve yet to put them on the car. I got them late in the season and am waiting until spring to install them. Definitely look like a high quality piece and can’t wait to put them through their paces. Chris definitely makes these things as nice if not better than how they would come from manufacturing. Definitely a quality piece for anyone wanting a really nice, track ready coilover.

5 of 5 Redshift Competition Coilovers on Pontiac G8 December 8, 2020

After building a high powered stroker motor, my suspension was lacking.  A friend tipped me off about Chris's custom coilovers, The installation was straight forward and they're fantastic both on the track and on the street.  Overall I'm very pleased and look forward to doing business with Chris in the future.

5 of 5 An informed decision October 22, 2020
Reviewer: Aashish from Rensselaer, NY United States
The quality of the product aside, Chris and his dealer network (I was helped by Jay Edwards of Garage 344) are very vested in the sales experience. I walked in knowing I wanted coilovers with better performance. But nothing beyond that. I've got to laud Chris for taking the time to help me understand the nuances of shocks and helping guide me to a decision. He could have pushed his most expensive shock at me, but he chose to help me understand what would work best for me given where I was on the learning curve about shock damping.

Chris set up a seamless appointment through Jay with Garage 344. I just had to show up on the day of the scheduled install and Garage 344 went through the install in a very efficient manner. Chris stopped by and provided a lot of insight and pointers on how to use toe and what to think about as I went about adjusting the shocks.

I've since driven the car at Lime Rock and was able to consistently lap a second faster than my fastest time there.
